Little Rock Police Department Neighborhood Camera Project

IK Electric engineered, designed and built a wireless IP Video "Neighborhood Camera" system for the Little Rock Police Department.

Day/night cameras were placed on utility poles and connected back to the Downtown Police Precinct via the Cisco's Aironet "Wireless" network. Cisco's ACS software also provided network security and encryption to help protect the system.

The e-Watch Situational Awareness System is used to view and control this high-tech surveillance system. Investigators can easily control camera angle and direction by a joystick and the system has the capacity to record full motion video from all cameras simultaneously.
